About the project

Geometer's Sandbox is a solver/explainer of elementary plane geometry problems.

The project's goal is to create an app that takes a human-readable description of a problem and generates a human-readable solution. The work started in February 2020 and is currently under active development.

As for today (March 2021), the app solves several problems. The problem should be formulated in python. For more info and examples of code, please refer to the Github repo.

Used technologies

The core of the project is written in python and is available on Github under the Apache License 2.0. The code of the website is not open-source at the moment.

For displaying math formulas and geometric sketches, the site uses MathJax and JSXGraph, correspondingly.
